Aaron James Cushenberry passed away peacefully on Friday, December 28, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents Luther Cushenberry and his beloved mother Phyllis Ann James Dickerson. He will be missed by his siblings Larry Wayne Cushenberry, Derek Kevin Cushenberry, Amber Dawn Dukes, and Crystal Deone Bigbee. He will also be especially missed by his Aunt Sally Lou Mitchell who was like a mother to him, as well as his uncles, aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Aaron James Cushenberry was born on February 3, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a young boy he favored to keeping dogs as his pets. After high school in 1974, Aaron enlisted in the military, where he received an Honorable Medical Discharge. Aaron was a strong believer in Christ. He loved expressing his faith through religious drawings and artwork. He was a natural-born salesman; he will be remembered for using his favorite phrases, “It’s brand new!” and “It’s a God Father Deal!” His antics would gain the attention of anyone who would listen. Aaron was a kindhearted, loving, and funny individual who was loved by all. He was so well known that he never met a stranger. His humorous character traits made everyone love him even more.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, at 1:00 pm with visitation prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am.
